Two men killed in A30 crash were from Penzance

The two men killed in a crash on the A30 on Sunday night were both from Penzance, police have confirmed.

They were travelling in a silver Citroen Saxo which was in collision with a lorry at Crowlas just before 22:00 BST.

The incident caused a large fire and the road was closed for 15 hours.

Their families have been told but neither of the men have yet been named. The lorry driver escaped with minor injuries.
