Outdoor activity businesses in north Cornwall are working with the National Trust to promote conservation.

The aim is to help people taking part in activities like coasteering and kayaking learn more about the area's wildlife and geology.

The three firms in partnership with the trust are Outdoor Adventure, Cornish Rock Tors and Cornish Sea Tours.

The trust hopes encouraging the safe and responsible use of the coastline will help to preserve habitats.

Ben Spicer, director of Cornish Rock Tors, said the north Cornish coastline was "one of the most beautiful places in the whole country".

"Working with the National Trust to promote and protect it just seemed like a natural partnership - it's a great project," he said.
