Glynn Valley crash closes Cornwall's A38 trunk road

One of Cornwall's main trunk roads was closed for several hours because of a three-vehicle crash.

The accident happened on the A38 near Halfway House in the Glynn Valley at about 12:30 GMT.

One casualty with facial injuries was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by the Cornwall Air Ambulance. His condition is not known.

Traffic restrictions were put in place at Cardinham and Dobwalls until the road reopened at about 17:00 GMT.
