Two teenagers have been arrested after a fire at a school in west Cornwall.

The fire, in the roof of Heamoor Community Primary School in Penzance, broke out on Wednesday night.

About 20 firefighters were called to the scene and witnesses reported 20ft (6m) high flames coming from the single-storey building.

Two boys, aged 15 and 16, both from Penzance, were arrested on suspicion of arson and released on bail, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
