A car belonging to a man who has been missing since Thursday has been found during an air and sea search.

Coastguard teams, two lifeboats and a rescue helicopter were involved in the search along the coast of north Cornwall on Friday.

Devon and Cornwall Police said Mark Neville's car was found in a car park at Pentire Headland in Newquay.

Police are still looking for the 45-year-old from Newquay, but the search has been scaled back.

Mr Neville is described as 6ft 4in (1.6m), of thin build, with short light brown hair. He was believed to be wearing jeans and a green top.
