Physiotherapy and occupational therapy for the under 18s in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly is to get a £500,000 investment, a primary care trust says.

NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly has said the money would enable more young patients to be treated closer to home.

It will pay for additional therapists, and enable services to be provided at some schools, as well as at the Royal Cornwall Hospital's Dolphin Centre.

The trust said it was part of plans to provide more services in the community.
