Drugs seized after driver stopped on A30 in Devon

Drugs with an estimated street value of £80,000 have been seized from a car near Exeter.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the car was being driven "erratically" towards Cornwall on the A30 on Tuesday evening.

A search of the car revealed a "substantial amount" of what were believed to be controlled drugs.

A 28-year-old man from Falmouth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. He was released on bail until March, police said.
