Penzance woman dies in mini-bus collision at Longdowns

A woman has died in Cornwall following a collision between a car and a minibus.

The 37-year-old from Penzance died after being thrown from her car on the A394 at Longdowns near Penryn at about 1800 GMT on Saturday.

The woman was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital but later died. Her family have been informed.

Police said the road was frozen with snow. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
