Two arrested after cannabis factory found in Penzance


Two people have been arrested in Cornwall after a cannabis factory was uncovered.

A 29-year-old woman and man, 34, were stopped near Penzance in their Volkswagen Golf by traffic police.

Following inquiries, police searched a nearby property and found mature cannabis plants.

Police said the plants would yield about £52,000 annually. The two people are assisting with police inquiries.
