Motorists are being urged to take extra care on their journeys after a night of heavy rain and strong winds left debris across many roads in the South West.
Winds of more than 60mph (97km/h) hit parts of Devon and Cornwall overnight, resulting in trees being brought down.
A fire crew and Western Power engineers were called out after winds brought down electrical cables on the Lizard.
Devon County Council said motorists should be aware of fallen leaves hiding debris and slippery patches.
Some roads across the region have also been hit by flooding.
