Man injured in Cornwall paraglider crash

A man has been injured in a paraglider crash in Cornwall.

The 32-year-old broke his leg when his paraglider came down in a field near St Agnes Beacon at about 2000 BST.

It is thought a second paraglider in the area raised the alarm, coastguards said. A coastguard team was dispatched to find him.

The team and ambulance officers treated the man before he was flown to the Royal Cornwall Hospital by a helicopter from RNAS Culdrose.
