Second man charged over Peterborough shooting death

Police investigating the death of a man who was found with gunshot wounds have charged a second man with murder.

Mihai Dobre was found critically injured in Crabtree, in the Paston area of Peterborough, shortly after 00:34 BST on 13 April, police said.

Mr Dobre, who lived in Oundle Road, was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead at 20:03 that evening.

Christopher Pycroft, 39, of Crabtree, Peterborough, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to rob.

Mr Pycroft appeared virtually at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody.

He will appear at Cambridge Crown Court on Wednesday.

Lewis Hutchinson, 29, of Eastern Avenue, Dogsthorpe, was charged with murder and possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence in April.
