More than 20 firefighters tackled a fire at a school in Cambridge earlier.

It broke out at about 06:00 BST at St Bede's Inter-Church School on Birdwood Road.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said officers were faced with a "well-developed fire" when they arrived.

The secondary school is closed for the Easter holidays. No-one was hurt and the fire was brought under control by about 08:00 BST, station commander Stuart Smith said.
