Two former teachers at Kimbolton School in Cambridgeshire have been charged with child sex offences.
Simon Ball, 42, of Combe Avenue, Greenwich, London, is charged with five counts of sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 17.
Scott Whitlock, 45, of no fixed abode, is accused of making, possessing and distributing indecent child images, as well as publishing an obscene article.
Both were bailed to appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on 5 April.
Mr Ball is also charged with one count of making indecent images of children, one count of possessing indecent images of children, four counts of indecent assault and five counts of abusing a position of trust.
Police said the charges against him relate to allegations involving four girls who were aged between 13 and 17 at the time of the alleged offences, between 2001 and 2012.
Seven of the charges relate to the period of time when Mr Ball was teaching at Kimbolton, while the remaining charges relate to a previous school in North Yorkshire.
Mr Whitlock was charged with two counts of making indecent images of a child, one count of possessing indecent images of a child, one count of distributing indecent images of a child and one count of publishing an obscene article.
His alleged offences took place between September 2014 to June 2015, police said.
The charges against the two men are unrelated.
