A14: Lorry accident closes westbound section

The A14 westbound in Cambridgeshire has been closed causing major disruption after a crash involving two lorries.

The accident happened at about 06:00 BST at Stow Cum Quy, near Cambridge Airport.

The road was closed between Junction 36 (Nine Mile Hill) and Junction 34 (Fen Ditton) while "a spillage" was cleared from the A14, said police.

A diversion was put in place and there are queues of 4 miles (6.4km). It is expected to be closed all day.
