Michael Green: Fifth charge over Peterborough murder

A fifth person has been charged in connection with the murder of a man who was found dead in an underpass in Peterborough.

Michael Green, 23, of Muskham, Bretton, was found near Tyesdale in Bretton at about 01:20 BST on Wednesday.

Three boys, aged 15, 16 and 17, and a 16-year-old girl, have already been charged with his murder.

Joshua Gibson, 22, of Swale Avenue, Peterborough has been charged with assisting an offender.

He will appear before magistrates in Peterborough later.

The four teenagers charged with Mr Green's murder appeared before magistrates on Saturday and remain in custody.

They will appear at Cambridge Crown Court on Tuesday.

Post-mortem examination results showed Mr Green died from head injuries consistent with an assault.
