Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to visit their title city

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will pay their first joint visit to the city from which they take their title later this month, Clarence House has said.

The royal couple are expected to undertake four engagements in Cambridge and one in Peterborough on 28 November.

They will visit Cambridge's Guildhall and the Senate House at the University of Cambridge, where they will attend a reception for about 400 people.

After Cambridge they will head to Peterborough City Hospital.

Also in the visit will be a trip to Jimmy's, an accommodation and resettlement centre, and the couple will watch a drama, music and dance presentation at The Manor School - both in Cambridge.

The duchess previously visited Milton, north of Cambridge, on her own as patron of East Anglia's Children's Hospices.
