Two teenagers stabbed in Peterborough fight

A man and a teenager have been stabbed during a fight in Peterborough.

The pair, aged 15 and 19, were walking in Eastfield Road, near the Sportsman pub at about 0100 BST on Sunday, when they got into an argument with a man.

The argument developed into a fight and both were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Det Insp Neil Sloan, of Cambridgeshire Police, said: "There were a number of people in the area at the time and I am appealing for them to come forward."

He added: "One man I am particularly keen to trace was sat on a silver car watching what was going on.

"The victims did not suffer serious injury but it could have been worse."

The man with a knife has been described as white, in his late teens or early 20s and wearing a dark hooded top.
