A man has been charged with murder after another man was stabbed to death.

Marcus Dunkerton, 40, was found by officers at Thames Close, Charfield, Gloucestershire, just before 23:00 BST on Friday, Avon and Somerset Police said.

Grant Bradley, 46, of Blackwell Street, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, has been charged with murder.

He is in custody and is due at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Mr Bradley has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

Det Ch Insp Phil Walker, of Avon and Somerset Police, said Mr Dunkerton's family was being supported by specially-trained officers.

He asked anyone who was at the Railway Tavern in Wotton Road, between 21:00 and 23:00 on Friday, to get in touch.

Police are also asking for any information or CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage that could help the investigation.
