Body in Bristol harbour formally identified as Deakon Wilkins

A man whose body was found in the Floating Harbour in Bristol has been formally identified.

Avon and Somerset Police said the body of Deakon Wilkins, 24, was discovered last Sunday.

Mr Wilkins, from Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, was last seen alive leaving a nightclub in the city in the early hours of 14 January.

A police spokesman said the death was not being treated as suspicious and inquiries were continuing.
