NHS centre worker charged with prescription drug theft at Bristol centre

An NHS centre worker has been charged with stealing prescription drugs from a treatment centre near Bristol.

David Bamford, 46, of Quakers Road, Downend, has been charged with the theft of fentanyl and diamorphine from Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre.

He also faces a charge of causing a public nuisance relating to tampering with and changing the contents of ampoules.

Mr Bamford was bailed to appear before North Avon Magistrates on 28 June.
