Motorcyclist dies in Bristol van crash

A motorcyclist has died in a crash involving two vans in Bristol.

Melanie Miles, 42, from Clevedon, collided with a Citroen Berlingo before hitting a second van on the A4 at the Three Lamps junction at 05:15 BST.

She died at the scene as a result of her injuries, police said.

The 29-year-old Citroen driver, who is from the Bristol area, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drinking and driving. He remains in custody.
