A body has been found in a Bristol lock following reports to police about a man going missing while fishing with friends.

The alert was made by friends of Adam Jarosz, 31, who went missing at Netham Lock, Netham, on Saturday afternoon.

A man's body was recovered just before midnight on Saturday, although no formal identification has been made.

Police have said the death is not believed to be suspicious and efforts are under way to identify the body.
