Vincent Tabak faces trial over indecent images

A Bristol man is to face trial after nearly 200 indecent images were found on his laptop.

Dutch-born Vincent Tabak, 35, appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court where he was charged with two offences of making indecent images of children.

He also faces four charges of the possession of indecent images of children.

The case was transferred to Bristol Crown Court where he will next appear on 6 February.

The possession offences are said to have been committed between the start of 2009 and start of 2011 and relate to images found on his laptop.

The charges of making indecent photographs relate to material found on external hard drives in Bristol and Bath in 2009.

The court was told the photographs included level three and four images. Level five is categorised as the most serious.
