Sarah O'Neill died at home from head injuries

A woman found dead at her home in Bristol died from head injuries, a post-mortem examination has revealed.

The body of Sarah O'Neill, 22, was discovered in a property in Rose Green Close, in the east of the city, just before midday on Wednesday.

Sergio Saavedra-Navarrete, 27, has been charged with her murder.

He appeared before Bristol Magistrates' Court on Saturday where he was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday.
