Police believe they know the identity of a man whose body was found at a recycling plant in Bristol.

Officers were called to New Earth Solutions in Avonmouth after the body was discovered on Thursday.

A formal identification has yet to take place but an Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said the man's family had been informed of the death.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place later.

Searches at eight locations across Bristol - including at Belgrave Road in Clifton - have ended and police say they are now only searching one location.
