Robbers hit cyclist with iron bar in Bristol underpass

A 17-year-old cyclist was pulled from his bike, hit with an iron bar and threatened with a knife by two robbers in Bristol.

The teenager was cycling along the underpass on Cock Road, between Kingswood and Cadbury Heath, at 1810 GMT on Thursday when he was attacked.

His attackers, both wearing balaclavas, ran off towards Kingswood empty-handed.

The victim said he saw a small black car with tinted windows before entering the underpass.
