Leeds teenager 'threatened with knife' for mobile phone

A teenager was allegedly threatened with a knife and had his mobile phone stolen in Leeds.

The boy, 15, was walking along Cavendish Street at 1700 GMT on Tuesday after getting off the number 49 bus.

He said a man, thought to be on the bus pushed him into a doorway and demanded his Nokia E72 while threatening him.

The man, described as black and in his twenties, then ran off. He was wearing white Adidas trousers, a brown Adidas jacket and black Nike trainers.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
