Pedestrian dies in Bradford road collision


A 78-year-old man died when he was hit by a car in West Yorkshire.

The pedestrian was crossing Halifax Road in Cross Roads, Bradford when he was hit by a Suzuki Swift.

Police said the man, from the Denholme area of Bradford, suffered fatal injuries.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the accident, which happened at about 1810 GMT on Monday, are being asked to contact West Yorkshire Police.
