Man injured in Bradford collision dies in hospital

A 77-year-old man who suffered serious injuries in a road collision in Bradford has died in hospital.

The pedestrian was taken to the city's royal infirmary after the incident involving a red Nissan Almera.

Police said the collision happened on Beacon Road, Wibsey, at about 1800 GMT on Friday. A 39-year-old man was arrested after the incident.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said he had been released on bail, pending further inquiries.
