Appeal after Bradford sex assault on girl

Police are investigating a sex attack on a 16-year-old girl in Bradford.

The girl was attacked on Chapel Lane, in the Queensbury area of the city, shortly after getting out of a taxi in the early hours of Friday morning.

West Yorkshire Police want to speak to the taxi driver, who took the girl to Bradford from Brighouse, so he can help officers with their inquiries.

Police also want to speak to anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously in the area between 0200 BST and 0300 BST.

A spokesman said: "Specialist officers are currently supporting the victim and members of the local neighbourhood policing team are patrolling the area to offer reassurance to local residents."
