Girl charged over Wolverhampton Cenotaph graffiti


A teenage girl has been charged after graffiti was daubed on the Cenotaph in Wolverhampton.

The graffiti was discovered on the memorial, which is outside the Civic Centre, on the 5 and 6 of October.

West Midlands Police said two other teenagers who were arrested at the time have been released without charge.

A 14-year-old girl, charged with criminal damage, will appear at Wolverhampton Youth Court on 15 November.
