Man charged after cat mauled to death by dog in Walsall

A man has been charged after a cat was mauled to death by a dog.
Police arrested a man an address in Walsall about the attack in Pelsall, on 23 October.
Amos Price, 30, was charged with acting or causing an animal to be cruelly ill-treated and is due before Walsall magistrates on Thursday.
Ch Supt Andy Parsons said it was a "horrifying act of cruelty on an innocent animal" and the cat's owner said he was "very upset".
