Police have released dashcam footage of their 12 mile (19km) pursuit of a stolen bus.

John Burton, Simon Loveland and Thomas Tibbs were jailed after they stole the single-decker from a depot in Coseley.

Footage released by West Midlands Police shows the bus driving through red lights and on the wrong side of the road.

The bus went the wrong way round a traffic island, knocked down a sign and hit a fence, suffering £10,000 damage.

It eventually stopped in Albrighton, Shropshire.

At Wolverhampton Crown Court earlier this month, John Burton, 38, of Beaconsfield, Brookside, was sentenced to 14 months in prison for aggravated vehicle taking and two months for driving whilst disqualified.
