Five men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found in a street with head injuries.

Karl Swift, from South Yorkshire, was found in New Road, Halesowen, on 9 September.

The 33-year-old was taken to hospital but died the following day from his injuries.

Detectives investigating the murder arrested four men from Sheffield - aged 58, 51, 29, and 29 - and a 23-year-old man from Rotherham.

Det Insp Paul Joyce of West Midlands Police said he believed there may have been an incident at the William Shenstone pub in Halesowen prior to Mr Swift leaving.
