Kenichi Phillips death: Man charged with murder

A third man has been charged with murdering a Birmingham teenager.

Isaiah Wright-Young, 36, of no-fixed address, is accused of murdering 18-year-old Kenichi Phillips who was shot dead as he sat in a car in Ladywood, Birmingham.

He has also been charged with attempted murder and attempted wounding with intent to cause grievous harm.

He faces an additional two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

A 24-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on police bail.

Two other men have previously been charged over Mr Phillips' death on 17 March.

Dean Silvera, 37, from Dial Close in Druids Heath, and 18-year-old Disharn Downie, from Gravel Bank, Bartley Green, are currently on trial at Birmingham Crown Court accused of murder.
