Amazon Birmingham parcel theft: Six questioned
Six people are being questioned by police after more than 170 stolen parcels were recovered.
West Midlands Police said it raided a property in Little Park, in the Quinton area of Birmingham, at 14:00 GMT on 18 December after a tip-off.
Officers believe the items were taken from an Amazon van, with two such vehicles having been stolen in Birmingham and Sandwell in recent days.
The six people arrested are aged between 21 and 50.
The force said it is now working with Amazon to try and get the packages to the right addresses in time for Christmas.
Sgt Matt Crowley, from West Midlands Police, thanked the member of the public who got in touch for helping to "save a lot of disappointment this Christmas".
He added any customers worried their package may have been taken should contact Amazon.
