Driver charged with causing sisters' crash deaths

A man has been charged with causing the deaths of two sisters who were hit by a car in Birmingham.

Shelly Wu, six, and Lily, seven, were hit near the Grove Lane and Antrobus Road junction, Handsworth, on 21 June.

Michael Junior, 35, of Copthall Road, Handsworth, is charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.

He is also due to face three charges of causing serious injury by dangerous driving at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Monday.
