A caricature of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher from rock band Oasis has been stolen from a Birmingham pub.

The picture, valued at £1,500, was taken from the wall of the Lord Clifden in Hockley on Saturday evening.

The artwork was one of a limited edition run of 50, and was bought by pub owner Graham Smith in 2008.

Mr Smith said CCTV footage showed a man examining pictures on the wall before taking the sketch down and leaving the premises.

West Midlands Police is investigating the theft.
