Dudley Council in £40m new homes plan
About 350 new council homes could be built in Dudley under £40.6m proposals by the local authority.
Dudley Council's five-year plan includes borrowing £6m from the Local Growth Fund and investing £15.6m to get the project started.
Proposed sites include the former Wren's Nest estate office, as well as converting the former archives building in Coseley, the Guest Hospital and sites in Beech Road, Kingswinford.
The plans go before cabinet next week.
Even if they are approved, development of each site will require planning permission.
The cabinet is also being asked to approve plans to buy more former right-to-buy homes, either on the open market, or through mortgage rescue.
