Wolverhampton City Council has backed plans to cut £25m for 2015/16

The authority, which needs to make a total of £123m in savings by 2018, outlined the plan at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

The proposals include charging for access some exhibitions at the city's art gallery.

It said "successive cuts in government grant support" had led to a "drastic reduction" in financial resources. The plans must be approved by full council.
