Bloxwich man charged with possessing ammunition

A Walsall man has been charged with possessing ammunition, including armour-piercing bullets.

Paul Morris, 47, of Ivy Cottage, Station Street, Bloxwich, is due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court later.

Mr Morris was arrested on Friday, in an operation that led to 12 people having to leave their homes and the evacuation of part of Bloxwich police station.

Police said residents were able to return home on Friday evening.
