Sedgley wedding 'fraud' service owner bailed

A woman suspected of defrauding more than 100 brides-to-be through an online wedding service company has been arrested and bailed.

The inquiry centres on Facebook adverts and payments that did not result in any orders being delivered, police said.

Customers claim their calls would go unanswered when complaining, they added.

The 30-year-old woman was arrested in Sedgley following "numerous" complaints to police.

Police and Trading Standards interviewed the woman following her arrest on Wednesday.

She was bailed on Thursday until January while further inquiries are made.
