Free wi-fi to launch in Birmingham from September

Free wi-fi is to be introduced across Birmingham city centre from next month.
People will be able to access it in eight as yet unconfirmed locations from the beginning of September, a Virgin Media Business spokeswoman said.
"There will be no usage limits so people can use the service for as long as they need and it will support high bandwidth services like video streaming or online gaming," the council said.
The firm was awarded the contract by the council in July.
Unveiling the plans last month, the council said locations like Victoria Square, New Street, Moor Street, St Philip's Cathedral and the new library, were among the areas earmarked for the initial roll-out of the scheme.
Virgin Media Business told BBC News its service would cover more than two miles across the city's streets when it launches.
