Murder charge after Solihull woman stabbed

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman who died of knife injuries in Solihull.

Officers discovered the body of the 43-year-old victim at a house in Anchor Lane in the early hours of Thursday after being called by the ambulance service.

Clarke Dean, 47, was arrested at the same property.

He is due to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court.

A post-mortem examination found the woman - who has not been formally identified - died from injuries caused by a knife.

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
