Fourth man accused of Birmingham shopkeeper murder
A fourth man has appeared in court charged with murdering a Birmingham shopkeeper who was killed at his store.
Suppiah Tharmaseelen, 48, was stabbed to death at the Select Convenience Store, Kingstanding, on 27 November.
Anthony Bayliss, of Gretton Road, Erdington, was charged with murder and robbery at Sutton Coldfield Magistrates' Court.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham Crown Court on 9 December.
Three other men have already appeared in court charged with Mr Tharmaseelen's murder and have all been remanded in custody.
They are twin brothers Ian and John Meenan, 26, of Camberley Grove, Erdington, and Liam Ryan, 18, from Gretton Road in Erdington.
Mr Ryan has also been charged with robbery and assault.
