Shots fired during argument in Birmingham

Police cordoned off a Birmingham city centre road after shots were fired in the early hours.

West Midlands Police said they went to Dale End at about 0520 GMT following reports of four black men arguing and brandishing guns.

No-one was believed to have been injured in the incident. Dale End was cordoned off for several hours.

Officers have appealed for any witnesses to contact the force.
