Bracknell pedestrian dies after being hit by car

A pedestrian died after being hit by a car when crossing a road in Berkshire.

The 62-year-old man, from Bracknell, was struck by a white Land Rover as the vehicle was being driven around the roundabout on the A3095 Bagshot Road, close to the town's railway station.

He died in hospital. His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the vehicle, a woman from Surrey, suffered from shock. Police are appealing for witnesses.

The road was closed for several hours while officers carried out an investigation.
