A woman was handcuffed in her home and repeatedly punched by a gang of men posing as police officers.

The 40-year-old victim was assaulted by three men in her home in Luscinia View, Reading, at 21:00 BST on Sunday.

Thames Valley Police believe the victim was specifically targeted by the group, who fled the property empty-handed.

The attackers also entered the home of a 26-year-old woman in New Bright Street, claiming to carry out a drugs warrant.

They got away with an Asus laptop, Huawei tablet, a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and an Armani watch. The woman was not injured.
