Cash stolen in Slough 'gunpoint' bookies raid

A robber escaped with cash after threatening a member of staff at a bookmakers with what is thought to have been a gun.

A man wearing a red Adidas hoodie with his face covered wedged open the door at Corals Bookmakers in Langley, Slough.

Thames Valley Police said he made off towards the Humber Way area.

Police do not believe it is linked to three other robberies at commercial premises in Slough in the last week.

There were a number of customers in the shop in Parlaunt Road during the robbery at 19:30 GMT on Sunday.

The suspect is described as approximately 6 ft (1.8m) tall and of medium build.
